NEC's Cashback Rewards program allows your school to claim cashback through www.necstarstudent.com. The cash is then loaded onto the schools' debit card within 2-4 weeks of submission and can be used anywhere Visa is accepted! Each time a school registers a Cashback eligible product, they will get the dollar value associated with that product loaded on their debit card. A debit card can be registered to a person or a school. If a school is tax exempt, a tax exempt certificate must be uploaded to the site. If a tax exempt certificate is uploaded, an IRS 1099 form won't be issued at the end of the year.

• Only NEC Star Student Schools are eligible to participate in the NeC Cashback Reward Program. To enroll in Star Student, visit www.necstarstudent.com.
• You must be a registered school in the NEC Cashback Reward Program to be eligible to submit claims and receive payment. NEC Display Solutions reserves the right to reject any registration.
• All claims must be submitted by the 15th of every month. Schools have 15-45 days to register their products depending on when the claim is entered.
• The NEC Cashback products may change at any time. NEC Display Solutions reserves the right to add eligible products, subtract eligible products, and raise or lower amount of cash rewards during the eligible months. NEC reserves the right to modify the terms of this offering at any time.
• This offering is void where prohibited by federal, state or local laws.
• NEC Display Solutions reserves the right to terminate this program at any time.
• Cards will expire 60 days after program termination, or an card expiration date, whichever is earlier.
• Card is valid anywhere Visa is accepted.
• The NEC Cashback Rewards paid in US dollars.
• The NEC Cashback Reward Visa is not a credit card. It is a Money Card that works like a debit card. Every month during the program we will fund your card according to your valid sales claims and the program rules.
• The Visa will have cash access at participating ATMs. To use this feature you will need to activate your PIN number when you receive the card and call the activation number.
• NEC Display Solutions reserves the right to make corrections or adjustments, if necessary, to balances on the card, if audit determines this necessary.
• All audited web submitted claims must also include a copy of the sales invoice along with the web claim number or printable cover sheet. The invoice must show the invoice number, the date purchased, and must include a statement of qualifying products purchased.
• Duplicate claims will not be processed nor will NEC Display Solutions allocate in any way claims among multiple participants.
• NEC Display Solutions determination of eligibility shall be final.
• You will not for any purpose be considered an employee or agent of NEC Display Solutions. Participation in this program will not be construed as granting you any right under NEC Display Solutions employee benefit plan or otherwise. You will never make any claim, or assist anyone else in making such a claim, to the contrary.
• NEC Display Solutions reserves the right to request additional documentation in order to process and/or pay a particular claim. Failure to comply with requests for additional information and/or failure to provide requested documentation will result in termination from the program.
• Any falsification of claim form automatically eliminated individual from the program.
• You are responsible for all federal, state or local taxes, unless your school provides a tax exempt certificate. Tax exempt certificate must be uploaded to www.necstarstudent.com before the end of the calendar year. If you don't provide a tax exempt certificate, you will receive an IRS 1099 form.

• All schools enrolled in Star Student from October 15, 2006 to March 30, 2008 have until July 15, 2008 to claim their accrued EDUwards.
• All EDUwards that are not used by July 16, 2008, will be converted to Cashback Rewards at a ratio of 2 EDUwards equal $1 US Dollar.
  Example: If school has 1,000 EDUwards remaining on July 16, 2008, they will get $500 loaded on their Cashback card.
• Starting April 1, 2008, your school will transition from EDUwards to cash. The site will not reflect the cash values associated with your registrations until July 16, 2008.
• July 16, 2008, you must go to www.necstarstudent.com to sign up for your NEC Cashback Rewards Debit Card. Your log in information will be different from the Cashback registration than your normal Star Student log in.
• Your NEC Cashback Rewards Debit Card will be sent to you after you sign up in the Cashback Rewards program and register your first products after July 16, 2008.
• All products registered from April 1 - July 15, 2008 under the new Cashback Rewards will be transferred manually onto your debit card after you sign up for the Cashback Rewards and register your first products.

By participating, you receive a FREE 5th year warranty (whiteboards only), FREE 4th year parts warranty (VT Series), FREE 3rd year labor warranty (LT Series) and FREE 3rd year warranty (WT & NP Series). If you are an educational institution and have purchased an NEC projector within the last 30 days, your 5-year limited parts and labor warranty (IW77 whiteboard), 4-year limited parts warranty (VT Series), 3-year limited labor warranty (LT Series) or 3-year limited parts and labor warranty (WT and NP Series) will automatically be activated when you enroll in the Star Student Program and register your NEC products. You must register your products within 15-45 days of purchase in order to receive the additional warranties.
